This app is a calculation aid. It is not an approved source of weight and balance data for any aircraft.
The empty weight, empty CG, and station arms for your aircraft come from its own weighing record and equipment list — not from this app. Every number you enter here must be taken from those records, and every result must be checked against them before you act on it.
The aircraft profiles built into this app are convenience defaults drawn from published kit manufacturer figures. Amateur-built aircraft vary from one build to the next, and manufacturers revise their figures. Verify every preloaded limit, arm, and gross weight against your own Pilot Operating Handbook, builder documentation, and aircraft records before relying on it. If a preloaded value disagrees with your aircraft's paperwork, your paperwork is correct and the app is wrong.
The pilot in command is solely responsible for determining that the aircraft is loaded within its weight and center of gravity limits before every flight. Nothing this app displays or prints relieves you of that responsibility, and no output from it substitutes for the approved flight manual or the required weight and balance documentation carried in the aircraft.
Fuel is converted at 6.01 lb/gal, the standard figure for 100LL avgas. It is wrong for mogas, Jet A, and ethanol blends — enter weight directly for those. Calculations assume the aircraft was weighed in level flight attitude. Results are only as accurate as the scales, arms, and empty weight data you supply.
